This is a pretty cool toy. We had some issues with the first one we bought when the helmet and handheld did not seem to work together but they were good about exchanging it for us. The batteries need to be fresh in order for it to work to the max. My kids and any friends that come over like running around the house cops and robbers....a little loud but at least it keeps them busy! The helmet can be a little small for some...my 4 year old fits great but the 9 year old not so good. The strap is velcro so the helmet can fall off sometimes but they just pick up and keep playing. Glad we bought it!!

My 4 year old son bought this with his birthday money. The sounds are great...it comes with batteries which is a plus. The fit, however, is horrible. It is very hard to adjust, and doesn't sit low enough on the head to make it steady. The chin strap came improperly attached. My husband had to take apart the whole toy to fix it so it fit under his chin, took nearly an hour!

My twin five-year old boys received these for their birthday last night. Fortunately, my boys are on the small side because the helmets are very small. The box says adjustable, but really, even when you get it set at the largest headsize, they are just fitting. The chin strap just barely goes under their chins, its a bit ridiculous. Other than that, they are having a great time with them. As far as the handlebar not working, no problems here, just make sure you've turned the on/off button to ON, the handlebar will not work in the DEMO mode.
As an alternative to using the chin strap, they're putting baseball hats on their head, backwards, which tightens up the helmet and on they go....

The chin strap on here was just too small. I bought some sticky-back velcro strips from the store to create an extension of sorts, and it seems to be working out. He likes it - it's just not very comfortable for him at 3-1/2.

I purchased the Adventure Squad for my 3 year old niece who simply loves it. She continuously goes on the missions and loves to chase you like she's pulling you over! The working microphone, lights, and sirens are her favorite. I recommend buying one and letting your lil one enjoy "being a cop."
